 Carl Gustave Wilke, son of Carl Wilke and Susanna Noetzel.Born Oct 22, 1842 Lang County, Laurenburg, East Prussia, died Jun 25, 1911, 68 years Carl Gustave Wilke was discharged from the Prussian Army at his request, on March 25, 1870, in order to emigrate to the United States of America. However, by so doing, he suffered the loss of all his property, which was confiscated by the Prussian Government. On Oct. 21, 1904, in Chicago, he became a naturalized citizen of th U.S.A.
